SimpleWave Hide is additional software which helps prevent users from disabling SimpleWave. At each startup, SimpleWave Hide makes a copy of the first SimpleWave extension it finds in the Extensions folder and stores it in a secret place.
If the SimpleWave extension is removed from the Extensions folder, the secret copy is moved back.
SimpleWave Hide is only available to registered users and is inside the “Registered Users Only.sea” application (together with a ReadMe file on how to install it) for which you will receive a password after registering your copy of SimpleWave.
Always use the version of SimpleWave Hide which came with the version of SimpleWave you're using.
SimpleWave Remove
When a Macintosh computer is removed from the pool of public computers you may want to remove SimpleWave from that computer. Or if you decide SimpleWave Demo doesn't meet your expectations and you may want to remove it from all your computers.
The “SimpleWave Remove Demo” application will remove the SimpleWave extension and its related (possibly invisible) files from the startup disk for you. It will not remove a registered copy of SimpleWave.
For that you need the “SimpleWave Remove” application which is inside the “Registered Users Only.sea” application (registered users will receive a password to decompress its contents). This “SimpleWave Remove” application will remove registered and demo versions of SimpleWave.
You use the SimpleWave Remove application by double-clicking it to start it. It then asks if you really want to delete SimpleWave from the startup disk. Other messages may appear if you try to delete the registered version with the SimpleWave Remove Demo application.
Any of these messages are clear and easy to understand.
Always use the latest version of SimpleWave Remove.
